New Delhi: मतदाता सूची के विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण अभियान (एसआईआर) में कथित गड़बड़ी को लेकर विपक्षी दल मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग कर रहे हैं। इस मुद्दे पर नई रणनीति तय करने के लिए विपक्षी दलों के नेता मंगलवार शाम को नेता प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी के आवास पर जुटे। राहलु गांधी ने सभी विपक्षी दलों को अपने आवास पर चाय पार्टी के लिए बुलाया। इस दौरान सभी नेताओं ने एक अहम बैठक की और बाद प्रेस वार्ता में राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि एसआईआर के मुद्दे पर हम जल्द बड़ा सरप्राइज देंगे।
बैठक और चाय पार्टी के बाद मीडिया से बातचीत में राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि एसआईआर, कथित वोट चोरी के मुद्दे और मुख्य निर्वाचन आयुक्त के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर सभी विपक्षी दल एकजुट हैं। उन्होंने कहा जब तक ज्ञानेश कुमार का इस्तीफा नहीं हो जाता, तब तक विपक्षी दल पीछे नहीं हटेंगे।
राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि एसआईआर और ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे को लेकर जल्द नया सरप्राइज मिल सकता है।
उन्होंने इस मौके पर मोदी सरकार पर भी हमला बोला। राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि एसआईआर में बड़ी संख्या में वोटरों के नाम काटे गये। इसके लिए ज्ञानेश कुमार को इस्तीफा देना चाहिए लेकिन सरकार वोट चोरी करने वाले ज्ञानेश कुमार को बचाने का काम कर रही है।
